The Challenge To create a bold and energetic tequila brand that celebrates the vibrant spirit of modern Mexico while honoring its heritage. The brand must feel authentic, approachable, and premium, with a visually dynamic identity adaptable across digital, print, and experiential formats. Without a physical product, the focus is on conceptualizing a brand that engages and excites, bringing its bold character to life.

The CHISPA lime slice logo symbolizes freshness and energy, reflecting the brand’s bold, vibrant character. "Chispa," meaning "spark" in Spanish, evokes the lively, energetic spirit of tequila. Paired with the versatile typography logo, which balances modernity and impact, the identity adapts seamlessly across mediums. Together, they embody CHISPA’s celebratory essence.

The CHISPA bottle designs reflect the brand’s bold, modern identity while honouring its authenticity. Clean labels with strong typography ensure clarity, while vibrant lime green accents highlight tequila’s freshness. The lime slice icon adds a playful yet minimalist touch, and the contrasting tones between Blanco and Reposado bottles distinguish their profiles while maintaining a cohesive look.

The typography for CHISPA combines bold energy with modern versatility. Tropic Bold adds a playful, dynamic touch, while Neue Haas Grotesk Display Pro ensures clarity and sophistication. Together, they create a balanced, adaptable system for striking headlines and refined details.

The CHISPA color palette embodies the brand's bold, energetic essence. Mezcal Ember provides a rich, grounding green, while Agave Glow introduces a vibrant lime tone for freshness. Lime Frost and Verdant Mist offer light, airy contrasts, and Midnight Agave adds depth for striking accents. Together, the palette feels natural yet dynamic, versatile across print, digital, and packaging.

The CHISPA brand assets and patterns draw inspiration from nature and the essence of tequila. The star-like icons, representing a spark, also evoke the shape of the agave plant, tying the brand to its heritage. The organic, flowing pattern reflects the lushness and vitality of nature, reinforcing the brand’s connection to the natural world and the authenticity of its origins. Together, these elements create a dynamic visual identity that feels fresh, grounded, and full of life.

The brand’s visual identity emphasises a connection to nature and tradition, highlighted through photography and print applications. Natural textures, vibrant greens, and imagery of agave plants and fresh limes celebrate the origins of tequila while conveying bold, zesty flavours. This is complemented by thoughtful print elements, such as business cards and coasters, which incorporate the brand’s organic patterns and logo. Together, these elements create a cohesive and modern aesthetic rooted in authenticity and freshness.

This project captures the essence of a tequila brand inspired by nature, tradition, and bold flavours. The visual identity combines striking natural imagery, agave-inspired brand assets, and organic patterns to create a modern, authentic aesthetic. From photography direction to print applications, every element reflects the brand’s roots and connection to vibrant, fresh experiences. The result is a cohesive identity that honours heritage while appealing to contemporary sensibilities.
